The Kill the Fill PAC was formed in response to landfill developer Jennifer Monheiser, owner of KC Recycling and Waste Solutions and waste transfer station Mark II, taking aggressive action to stop legislation that would kill her South Kansas City landfill project. This project is located alarmingly close to residential neighborhoods, schools, and water and has overwhelming area opposition from residents, business owners, and city leaders.

Kill the Fill PAC gives a united voice to those area residents and businesses most affected while providing a centralized location to pool resources. This will allow the residents to more effectively take on the Monheisers and put a stop to their landfill development by any legal means available.

Kill the Fill PAC's Board is made up of seven members of the community:

The Board is responsible for the budget and deciding on expenditures.

Kill the Fill PAC is a continuing political action committee that is politically neutral. Kill the Fill PAC is not aligned with any political party nor affiliated with any particular political candidate outside of the purpose of this PAC which is to stop the landfill in South Kansas City.
